Lena Pfitzer

Senior data scientist

Lena studied molecular biotechnology with a focus on bioinformatics. She has been working in the cancer immunology field since her master thesis, where she focused on biomarker identification for predicting the response to checkpoint inhibition therapy.

At myNEO, Lena is one of the lead machine learning experts and oversees the continuous development of neoIM, our flagship immunogenicity prediction product. She has optimized both a non-self version of neoIM — used across the ImmunoEngine, myADA, myEPITOPE, and myPATHOGEN — and recently led the development of a self-antigen version, giving rise to the mySELF product line.
