A little history

myNEO was founded in 2018 by leading biotech entrepreneurs combining expertise from different academic institutions. Cedric Bogaert, Jan Van Den Berghe, and Wim van Criekinge have since then expanded the team with established domain in antigen discovery experts as well as ambitious talent to further grow the company's innovation and developments.

To date, myNEO has achieved several pivotal milestones in realizing its vision. These include:

  • Development of state-of-the-art antigen prediction algorithms
  • Discovery of novel, dark antigen targets called camyotopes
  • (Co-)development of novel immunotherapeutics products via strategic collaborations or in-house, leading to 3 separate programs executing successful IND/CTA filings in 2025
  • The publication of high-impact scientific papers
  • ISO and regulatory approval for clinical use of technology
  • Securing valuable intellectual property with multiple patents

Patrick Ott PhD MD

Scientific advisor

Dr. Patrick Ott is currently the Clinical Director of the Melanoma Disease Center at Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), serves as attending physician in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and has an appointment as Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

His primary research interests are in melanoma and immunotherapy, specifically the development of innovative tumor vaccine approaches. Dr. Ott led a first in man clinical trial testing a personalized neoantigen vaccine in patients with melanoma, providing the basis for further testing of this innovative new treatment concept in other cancers.
